STAIND Frontman Kicks Off Solo Tour; Photos Available
January 5, 2009STAIND frontman Aaron Lewis kicked off his annual post-holiday solo acoustic tour this past Friday (January 2) in the Green Valley Ranch resort in Henderson, Nevada.
A number of high-quality photos of the concert from Scott Harrison can be found on HarrisonPhotos.com. A couple of the pictures can be viewed below.
Following his current solo run and some more touring with STAIND, Lewis hopes to begin recording his first solo album in the spring. Although he wants to produce the project himself, he told The Pulse of Radio that those plans could always change. "I'll be doing it at my house in my studio, and I'm very open-minded," he said. "If we get to a point and I'm just like, 'You know what? To take these songs to the next level I've got to get (STAIND producer) Johnny K. to come up here and help me out a little bit,' then that's what I'll do. But as it stands, I'm gonna attempt to do it myself."
STAIND will head to Europe for a month of dates beginning in mid-January as the group continues supporting its latest album, "The Illusion of Progress".
The band has posted a video online for a new single from the CD, "The Way I Am", which follows "Believe" and "All I Want".
